Up-and-coming fashion designer Megan Elizabeth Wahl died tragically last year in a car accident, but her dreams and her spirit live on, thanks to two of her closest friends, Jigme Nehring and Galit Alon, who founded Megan Elizabeth Designs in her memory. Last week, at Yaletown's Fine Finds boutique, friends, relatives and invited guests gathered to celebrate what would have been her 24th birthday. But the occasion was a happy one, and included a fashion show which unveiled some of her designs.
