Thursday, December 28th, 2006, the CBC’s On the Coast (BC) program featured Raj Taneja, host of the Urban Mixer, Social Empire and Executive Zone events, in an on-air dialog conducted by reporter Priya Ramu who discussed tips on mingling and meeting people in social scenarios.

Raj Taneja, socialite and host of both the Urban Mixer, Social Empire and Executive Zone events, was interviewed by Tarannum Thind, on-air presenter with Channel M. Working on a story in regards to Mr. Taneja’s companies and the events he produces, the piece was shown live on the program Chai Time.

Reporter Christine Van, on assignment with The Vancouver View, covered the Day at the Races with Social Empire at Hastings Park for her social column, “On the Scene with Christine Van”. The photographs appeared in the September issue of Vancouver View in the Yaletown View section of the magazine.

Steven Schelling, fashion/arts/lifestyle columnist, composed an article for the June 29th issue of the WestEnder titled “We’re a lonely bunch. Is it our own fault?” In the article, Steven cites both the Social Empire and the Urban Mixer as being great outlets for those looking to be social in Vancouver.

Chelsea Bowles, on assignment with the Office Journal, interviewed Frances Hui, the Social Empire’s Executive Director and Raj Taneja, SSID Inc.’s President for the April/May issue of the bi-monthly. Excerpts of the interviews as well as a profile on the Executive Zone were posted in an article titled “Network stars prosper.”
